Outbrain is seeking a Publisher Account Manager, who will play a key role helping to grow our business in the Asia Pacific region. Outbrain powers the content recommendations that publishers offer to their readers, to increase user engagement and drive revenue. Outbrain also enables owners of content, both publishers and brands to run content marketing campaigns across our publisher network.
Based out of Sydney, you will work closely with the business development team and be responsible for the implementation and launch of Outbrain technology on publisher sites. A key focus for the role will be the ongoing management and growth of a set of dedicated accounts. You will also liaise with the Technical Account Management and broader account management team to provide support on new and ongoing partner implementations.
As with all Outbrain employees, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of an innovative, ambitious and technology driven international company within an emerging, challenging and fast paced market. The ideal candidate needs to be passionate, enjoy partner interaction, have a natural curiosity for client services and be up for a challenge!
Key Responsibilities -
Your first year should look like this:
In your first month, you should find your bearings, do a deep dive into the Outbrain product as well as the technical aspects of it and start to build key internal and external relationships.
After three to six months, you will be supporting the day to day relationships with top-tier publishers and leading the relationships with our mid-tier publishers, actively working as a partner to these and understanding both their commercial, product and editorial needs. You will have made an impact on Outbrain’s financial performance contributing towards our targets.
When you finish up your first year, you’ll be an essential part of the vibrant Engage AM team, with solid cross-functional relationships. You will continue to leverage your knowledge and collaborate successfully with the rest of the team.
