Are you looking for your first sales role, selling an innovative digital solution to the major media agencies and working with a team who will develop and inspire you?

Outbrain is seeking highly motivated, entrepreneurial agency sales execs to join an energetic sales team and office in central London. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving direct revenue by leveraging the industry’s leading content recommendation and discovery solution for brands and media agencies in the UK, as well as growing existing accounts, sourcing new clients, building a revenue pipeline and turning prospects into partners.  

Our team is made up of individuals who are resourceful, bright, and proactive and who work well both independently and as part of a fast-growing team.

This is an entry level role, requiring a fast learner with a drive to win sales and grow business.

Your first year should look like this:

In your first month, you should find your bearings, get to know your team, and do a deep dive into our Amplify product and start to build an understanding of your dedicated Agency Patch. You will also complete an online course for Amplify Sales.

After three months, you’ll have worked with senior members of the team to master our pitch and understand the products. With a handful of in-person client meetings and presentations behind you., you’ll know how to navigate your agencies and who to lean on internally. You’ll be building on new business opportunities via client generation and pipeline.

After six months, you will have autonomous ownership of an agency patch and be working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales planning and account management, as well as managing designated opportunities from lead to close, including IO processing. Additionally, you’ll feedback to product management on features that would provide partners with additional value.

By the end of your first year, you’ll be an essential part of the UK sales team, having leveraged a strong base of brand/agency contacts to help the team grow their business and be an external evangelist of our products and offering!

  • clear and concise communication skills and presentation style, for both internal and external stakeholders
  • An understanding of - and interest - in the digital landscape.
  • Evidence of sales acumen
  • Strategic planning ability and the drive to achieve and stretch targets
  • a willingness to “get stuck in” and be proactive
  • a natural people-person who is quick to to strike up and build relationships
  • a team player who thrives on strong collaboration
  • Organised - there is a lot to do!
