Business intelligence at Outbrain is focused on leveraging Outbrain’s vast amounts of data (hundreds of billions content recommendations served each month) to gain insight into global content consumption trends and content marketing best practices. The BI team collaborates with Business, Product, R&D and Marketing teams to utilize these insights using multiple forms. We are looking for a doer, someone eager to learn and be part of a small and ambitious team in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain & Build dashboards and reports to accommodate business requirements 
  • Learn to write SQL queries to pull data from Outbrain’s databases as needed to fulfill specific data requests and generate custom reports  
  • Package key findings and insights from large datasets in client-facing presentations and reports 


  • A third year student of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative field
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Good familiarity with Excel
  • Work with large data sets, including data manipulation, analysis and visualization
  • High productivity and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Self-learning capabilities
  • Experience with SQL a plus
