We are looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist who will play a pivotal role in helping to grow Outbrain’s midmarket publisher business (aka Engage).

 

This individual will work with Business Development, Product Marketing and Publisher Management leads to oversee the development, planning, and automation of effective marketing and communication campaigns targeted to new and existing business. The ideal candidate will have the necessary skills to design and manage an effective lead generation, conversion management, and account communication platform. Once set up, the individual will continue to work with BD, marketing and PM lead to make data-driven decisions to improve KPIs along the entire sales funnel.

 

Throughout the process, the individual will partner with various internal teams, including a Salesforce Specialist and Website developer, to configure and automate various stages in the customer lifecycle including lead sourcing, review, onboarding, optimization, and reporting.

 

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years experience in a marketing or sales operations role and will have experience with Salesforce and related email marketing platforms.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the development of lead generation (eg inbound leads via website and outbound leads via email marketing) system with scheduled/rules-triggered deployments.
  • Configure automated technical solutions to vet and review inbound leads for quality assurance.
  • Understand, manage and optimize the building and maintenance of account and lead lists.
  • Manage leads through conversion funnel, reporting into Salesforce along each stage of completion or movement.
  • Facilitate automated or manual distribution of email marketing campaigns to new and/or existing accounts. Including, creating campaigns and managing communication calendars for each stage of the pipeline.
  • Work with Business Intelligence and Client teams to create support-related communications (via email, FAQ, etc.) for existing accounts.
  • Develop a monthly metrics-driven market dashboard that pulls data from across the organization to report ROI-driven marketing results across activity to show what’s working and what’s not.
  • Investigate, share, and help to implement new trends in marketing, automation, and strategic best practices.
  • Regularly test marketing tactics to enhance performance with client acquisition and retention.
  • Develop client messaging based on pipeline status and segmentation.
  • Identify opportunities for business optimizations at-scale and manage projects through development and testing process.
