Outbrain is seeking an Account Strategist to play a key role in helping to grow our business in Israel. Based out of Netanya, the Account Strategist will work closely on campaigns of the Israeli local market with focus on leading brands and major media agencies such as P&G, Coca-Cola, Isracard, Universal McCann etc.

As part of the role, account strategy will assist key clients on building their media plan with Outbrain and help them drive results. Account strategy is mostly identified as the professional touch point for the local market.

  • Meet and consult regularly with clients (including c levels) to understand priorities, and lead with them the process from brief to campaign.Manage every aspect of advertisement campaigns and strategy.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and upsell against them.
  • Carry out kickoff calls, campaign implementation, optimization and launch for strategic clients.
  • Interfaces with other department leads to share ideas, communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solution.
  • Leads data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs. 


  • Experience in managing clients - ability to meet and present to clients, marketing (including c level) and digital teams
  • Analytical ability to monitor and identify trends in performance metrics and data
  • Strong interest in the media industry including brands, publisher and performance buyers.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • High presentation skills (Preparing and presenting)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to execute efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 4 years experience in the marketing/media/digital industry - including at least 2 years experience in a local digital media agency - MUST
  • 2 years experience in a local digital media agency – MUST
  • Experience in strategic planning – huge advantage
  • Knowledge of Web analytics systems – advantage
  • Native Hebrew speaker, that is also fluent and proficient in English (verbal and writing)
